Setco Lipe clutches are widely used in commercial trucking, off-highway equipment, and other heavy-duty applications where reliability and performance are critical. Their robust design and advanced technology make them a preferred choice for fleet operators and mechanics looking for a long-lasting, efficient clutch solution.
LIPE-1 is the premier 15.5” cast iron clutch for extreme high torque, severe service applications. It has the highest torque rating provided to North America coming in at 2400 ft-lbs
LIPE-2 is manufactured to the same high quality standards of the LIPE-1 but is used for all Class 7
and Class 8 not needing the extra torque capacity. It is the ideal application for most fleets and
units having lower torque requirements.
LIPE-3 is the ideal clutch replacement for Class 6 units having 14” stamped steel clutches with the 2" input shaft.
LIPE-4 will replace the 14” single plate clutch such as those used in Ryder, Penske, and light duty
applications. It is a two plate design that can be used to replace the single disc with no additional
changes. It can be used on all 14” flat flywheels with transmissions having 1.75” input shafts
